Our Origin Story

Baby Shusher was created by Chad and Katie Zunker, who birthed the product out of their own personal desperation. Like many new parents, they combed through books and DVDs to prepare for their new future.

One recurring piece of advice talked about the best ways to soothe fussy, crying  and colicky babies - "shushing". The only problem with shushing is that it can really wear you out, especially when confronted with a persistently fussy newborn. 

The answer to this question was the Baby Shusher. The friendly little orange machine was programmed with a gentle, rhythmic shushing sound, from a real human voice.
