This is a great item to just have around in case you get a wound or bite. It sprays really easy and is plan old saline. I used it on my dog (she cut her paw pad/nailbed) and worked great and was safe for her. I might get another can to put in my "go" kit in addition to having it in my household first aid kit. It is a pressurized can, so having it in a hot car or cold winter outside (like in a car kit) might not be a great idea.

I got this to go in my first aid kit so that I can have something reliable to clean a wound in an emergency situation where I don't have access to good clean water.This stuff is not only great for a first aid kit, but it is good to have around for any outdoor enthusiast, such as a hunter, fisherman or hiker, basically any situation where you don't have access to good clean water to clean out a wound you might pick up in the wild.To me, this is quite a lot to pay for what is essentially just sterile, sprayable salt water, but if you don't have access to good clean water, it could save yourself, or a loved one, from a very nasty infection that could be very difficult to treat. When viewed from this perspective, it is worth the cost.

It does not irritate. It's easy to use with the mist sprayer. great for cleaning piercings. I got this to clean my nose piercing and to clean mosquito bites. more gentle than rubbing alcohol. The container is a decent size 6 oz and should last quite a while making a good value.
